Data Deletion

How to Request Account Deletion

Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

1. Open the FocusFit app
2. Go to Settings (gear icon)
3. Scroll down to “Delete Account”
4. Follow the confirmation prompts
5. Your account and all data will be permanently deleted

Method 2: Email Request If you cannot access the app, email us at: goldcorum@gmail.com

Include the following information:

• Your email address associated with the account
• Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account
• Any additional information that might help us locate your account

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your FocusFit account, the following data will be permanently removed:

User Account Data:

• Email address and authentication information
• Display name and profile information
• Account creation date and settings

App Usage Data:

• All focus session history and timestamps
• Workout history and exercise completions
• Achievement progress and unlocked achievements
• Streak data (focus and workout streaks)
• Analytics and progress tracking data

Settings and Preferences:

• Theme preferences (light/dark mode)
• Notification settings
• Equipment selections
• Exercise exclusions and difficulty preferences
• Timer and reminder configurations

Technical Data:

• Device information and app usage statistics
• Error logs and crash reports associated with your account
• Any cached or stored data on our servers

Data Retention Policy

• Immediate Deletion: All user data is deleted immediately upon account deletion
• No Retention Period: We do not retain any personal data after account deletion
• Backup Cleanup: All backups containing your data are purged within 30 days
• Third-Party Services: Data shared with Firebase (our backend provider) is deleted according to their policies

What Happens After Deletion

• Your account will be permanently removed from our systems
• You will no longer receive any notifications from FocusFit
• All your progress, achievements, and data will be lost permanently
• You can create a new account at any time, but previous data cannot be recovered

Note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you want to delete your account before proceeding.
